Today we made our paper windmill. Let me walk you through the simple steps it takes.
First,
Materials Required
You don’t need anything that’s not easily found in your house.
- Scissors
- A paper pin
- Toilet paper roll
- Paper windmill template (click the button below to download it)
- Colors

Follow along for the step by step instructions.


Download your windmill template using the yellow button above.

Color the circles.
We had a coloring mini-competition.

Cut out the circle shapes.

Cut the vertical lines that pass through the circle, but only till the smaller circle shape that is inside your large circle.

Once you’ve cut all the lines, your circle should look like this.

Now fold all the cut parts in half in a way that they form a pointed edge after the fold.

Your pinwheel is ready.

Now take a board pin and pass it through the center of your wheel as well as through the toilet paper roll.

Now give it to your child. They can blow into the folded parts lightly using their mouth or a straw.
