You know a calendar is one of the best ways to teach time management skills to your kids. Here are the things I wanted the original positive calendar for kids to help accomplish:
-A colorful sheet with fun images that attracted the child
-A place to mark important dates, appointments, special days, etc
-Track progress
-Positive quotes as reminders every time we would look at the calendar

New Improvements
There are almost half a dozen improvements in the new version that my readers may have found lacking in the previous calendar.
Things like:
-this time the calendar days start with Sunday
-U.S national holidays are there this time and highlighted in red
-the page size is US letter (8.5 x 11 in) now
-there’s a one-page year at a glance calendar included too
-my son and I think these new animal images are better than the last ones
-more designs coming each day this month!

Day #1 Design: Hipster Animals Calendar
This was the original idea. A calendar for animal lovers.
I needed a calendar for my son and it had to have animals in it if I wanted him to be willing to look at it.
During the entire year, everyone loved it and so I decided to bring back this theme for 2020 too. Only this time, I think the animals are dressed better.
Daily positive affirmations are still included. I tried to write affirmations for each month specific to that month’s theme. (For example, ‘I’m intelligent’ is the positive affirmation for the month of September when kids are ready to get back into study mode.) But even otherwise, they are simple positive phrases to remember and use any day.
