Let me walk you through how to make this easy origami bunny face step by step.
Step 1. Print out the origami bunny templates
You can click here to access the origami bunny templates.
We used colored sheets to get the prints but if you use white paper, you can get colored prints. All the lines, shapes and facial expressions are colored. We just had a b/w printer so…
Step 2. Cut the squares boxes out using safety scissors.
We also had a set of black and white bunny origami templates cut out.
Step 3. Take a square. Lay it in a diamond shape in front of you and fold it in half.
Step 4. Now take a look at the folded triangle, there’s another long line near the two cylindrical shapes, fold that line too.
Step 5. Now bring in the two pointed edges with cylindrical shapes on them inside till they touch the top pointed edge.
Here’s one side folded.
Here are both sides folded.
Step 6. Now turn your origami rabbit around so the face is in front of you.
You will see two horizontal lines, one on the bunny’s forehead and one on his chin.
Fold them backward.
Using a ruler will make it easy since it’s all thicker now.
Here’s how it should look like from the side with both the forehead and chin lines folded back.
Step 7. Enjoy your bunny!
Here are ours!
We decorated them some more.
I hope you liked our easy origami bunny.
