Do you know what it means to say I’m a stay at home mom (and blogger)?
That there’s SOOOO much to do every single day that I’m tired to the bone!!
My mind is all fogged and numb, my back aches, my wrist, and my fingers hurt, I feel fat sitting at the desk… I’m overwhelmed and the workload keeps me stressed.
I can’t even stand the sunlight anymore…
I NEED HELP!!!!
And at one time or another, all of us wonder women aka mom bloggers do.
So, here’s where I find some help that’ll surely boost your energy too!
As much as I should ask for some external help (which we should every now and then!) I like to be able to feel better inside me first. Over the past week, I’ve tried these few things and they’ve helped me like magic. Please do try any three at least, each day. I assure you it’ll help.
BOOST YOUR ENERGY WITH THESE QUICK TIPS:
1. Two Instant Glasses Of Water
Sometimes my head is spinning and taking two glasses of water helps me gain control right away. You may not even realize that dehydration is causing you this tiredness. Sometimes you don’t even feel thirsty, but there’s no harm trying this. So go take two glasses of water.
If you have a couple more minutes, drinking lemon water helps too.
Time: 1 minute?!
2. Hot Milk + Turmeric
When you drink this, you’ll feel the ingestibly–hot (not lukewarm, not cold) milk calming you as it spreads inside you. I’m no food expert but this is a traditional recipe for tired/hurting moms and I love this. Turmeric helps with fatigue and pain so well that we were often given turmeric balls to soothe cramps which never even once failed me. The milk + turmeric recipe is beneficial for a peaceful sleep too (if you do tons of content planning in bed, which you shouldn’t!).
Time: 2 minutes. Seriously!
3. Vitamins
You don’t need to skip your vitamins even if you’re taking a regular healthy diet cus we’re working extra, so boost your energy with some extra energy supply!
Time: 30 seconds, (assuming you already have them at home) I promise!
4. Fresh Air
Go outside, take a deep breath in fresh air and let it do the magic.
Time: 10 minutes. No biggie. You still have 23 hours and 50 minutes left to complete the rest of your work.
5. Peppermint Essential Oil
Diffuse it or leave the bottle open near you on the desk. Or take a drop and rub it on your hands front and back. When you’re typing on your keyboard, you’ll smell it and feel fresher and more alert.
Time: If you have the oil, applying it takes less than 30 seconds.
6. Read These
When I’m totally exhausted, I get on the internet and find inspiring mom bloggers who have large families but they still manage to manage big projects on their own.
When I learn about such mom bloggers, and later in the day I’m stuck,
I pretend to be and think like them!
My son doesn’t want to sleep ever. One night I was complaining and suddenly I remember this amazing mom blogger who has seven homeschooled children AND a blog. Can you imagine how her night times would be?
If you really can feel her for a moment; it’ll help you pull yourself together right away.
Thinking like these inspiring moms always helps me.
Time: 3 minutes to read any one of the linked
7. Fake Strength
I read somewhere and it has stuck with me, I want the same to happen to you as you read this: Your brain is the computer, YOU are the programmer. Program your brain the way you want it.
And it will manifest!
What do you have to lose (except your limiting belief!) if you just believed me for a second?
If there’s a doubt or a limiting belief, keep shushing it inside till it’s gone. Think you feel strong and you will.
Time: It takes one solid second to make a firm decision you won’t program your brain with negative self-talk that pulls you down. Let this second be that one. You’re a mommy, everyone looks up to you. So be that joy and source of energy for everyone, your kids, your hubs and your blog fans!
