The Best Tool For Helping You Take Care Of Your Baby
The minute I returned back home from the hospital, my head was bombarded with more things than I could cope up with: guests, pain, sleep deficiency, house and family and so many other things in between.
It was very difficult to remember all the things happening with the baby.
There were so many things I needed to keep an eye on, but my brain kept losing sight of.
- since how many hours has she been sleeping?
- when did I feed her last?
- is she oversleeping, under eating or vice versa or both?
- Is she pooping less or more?
- when did she pee last?
- which side of the breast did I feed her from last?
- how long did I nurse her?
- did I take my milk supply remedy?
- when did I sleep last?
- how will I do all this?
- I don’t need to stress… it will reduce the milk supply!!
I couldn’t remember everything at all the times, especially when diapers and nursing happened innumerable times each day.
The doctor asked me things which I didn’t have answers to so I decided to note down important details in writing.
Download Your Baby Tracker Printable
Here is a beautified version of the baby log printable I wish someone gave me the first day I got home. Click HERE to download it. I hope you find it useful in taking care of your little one.
Put it near the nursing spot or by your bedside. Also, don’t forget to place a pen at all times alongside this sheet so it takes you only seconds to note down the details.
This info will also help you determine how your baby’s habits are developing and which areas need any special attention.
There are two versions, one with a checklist for you to remember the milk supply remedies. Because in the beginning, I didn’t know what I know now, that milk supply increases.
All I cared for was if I produced enough to feed my baby this moment or not. And I was desperate not to have to give in to formula milk for even one feeding session (just my personal preference, no judging) only for the lack of natural milk supply. I was trying any and everything I learned that would help me.
Update: 2.5 months letter, now I have settled with the remedy that worked best for me over time. You will find out YOURS by trying a few things and seeing what works better.
I personally needed to remember them all the time, so I put these here but if you only want a baby log for your sweet baby then I have a simpler version for you too.
Use these printables for help with:
- doctor visits where she may ask you how much or how frequently your baby is taking the milk
- if the baby is taking enough milk, this can only be known by the diapers they dirty in the beginning
- if they are not going hungry for long hours
- to create your own personal daily schedule once life gets back to normal and you know, because you use this printable, what sleep routine the baby has settled into
- noting down their mood, any medicine you had to give them, what cute or funny thing they did/happened, or other things you might want to record in the notes and remember section.
- etc
I hope you find this printable useful and it helps you take better care of your baby.
Use this baby tracker printable to make those first few days as easy as you can. Oh, and don’t forget to enjoy these days. They are so precious. Two months in and I already miss mine.

Is there a way to change the font for the baby tracker?
I would prefer if it were easier to read. Is it possible to get the original for this through email to change the font or can you do it.
Hena Bilal says
Hi, what font do you want me to change it to? Lemme do it for you and put it here for everyone else too. I’m emailing you the editable one too in case you want to personalize it some more.

Here’s your baby tracker in ‘Poppins Light’ font. I think this is the font used in the comments sections too. This one does look better! I hope you got the editable version too. (https://www.mendingwithgold.com/wp-content/uploads/2-of-original-baby-tracker.pdf).
Thanks for stopping by! <3

I sent an email can you check your promo folder too? Also, maybe if you reduce the font size and the font color to a grey tone of your taste the result will match the comment section even better I just realized that my site’s fonts are not black. And you can add your baby’s name on the top too, just an idea. =)
